Can I have implants even if I have lost a lot of jaw bone?

It is highly likely that you can. A detailed 3D scan of the jaws tells us the exact volume of bone available and its quality. Using this information we can decide if implants can be placed immediately or if we need to add bone to the area using another procedure called bone grafting before we can place an implant. It is very rare to have such a small amount or quality of bone that we are unable to place implants entirely.
